The Roles:
We are currently seeking experienced, motivated and reliable Full Time and Part Time Night Cleaning Team Members to join our team at Canberra Centre in Canberra, ACT 2608. The rosters for these positions are:
Full Time Roster
Monday to Friday - 2224 to 0600
Part Time Roster
Monday to Thursday - 1800 to 0136
Friday - 2230 to 0600
If you have commercial or retail cleaning experience and would like to be part of a team that makes a difference, then we would love to hear from you.
These positions are paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020.
Role Requirements:
- Be well-presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
- Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience preferred (on-the-job training will be provided)
- An understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or willingness to learn)
- Cleaning Machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) preferred
- Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
- Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods
- Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Be able to communicate in verbal and written English
- Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
- Must be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance Check
- Must have valid work rights in Australia
