GS & Compliance Advisor
About the role
The Genuine Student & Compliance Advisor is responsible for assessing the authenticity of applicants' intentions and diligently ensuring compliance with visa requirements. Your focus will be on efficiently processing high-quality applications, with an emphasis on maximizing conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
Genuine Student Checks and Pre-screening
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Genuine Student checks across all pertinent Australian business units.
- Review and assess student visa applications to verify compliance with regulatory standards.
- Evaluate the authenticity of students' intentions to study abroad as well as their financial capabilities.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and gather requisite documentation to support the assessment process.
- Collaborate closely with students and their families to address any queries or apprehensions related to the visa application process.
- Offer comprehensive guidance and counselling to students regarding the student visa application process.
- Act as a liaison between the agent, students, and relevant immigration authorities.
- Stay updated on the latest immigration policies, procedures, and requirements to ensure accurate and up-to-date guidance for students.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, encompassing counsellors and administrative personnel, to optimize the visa application journey, ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with partner agents and immigration officials to enhance the effectiveness of the visa application process.
Compliance and Record-Keeping
- Uphold strict compliance with immigration regulations and ethical guidelines throughout the student visa application process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions, visa applications, and related documentation.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of student data and uphold data security standards in alignment with applicable regulations.
- Generate reports as needed to provide insights and updates.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in visa application processing and compliance.
- Exhibit a strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Possess advanced proficiency in both verbal and written English communication.
- Proven ability to work effectively in an internationally diversified team.
- Proven history of exemplary time management skills.
- Experience in overseeing compliance matters, particularly in university admissions, is preferred.
- Display innovative thinking and proactive work habits, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exhibit a proven ability in record-keeping, management, and generating sophisticated reports.
