Nurse Practitioner Manager (NP)

- Requires Travel to other Pathways' centers
- Coordinate and supervise all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical team members' in our providers' division in the organization.
- Offer guidance and counseling to coordinators and team members, assisting them in continually enhancing care services provided by the organization's personnel.
- Assist clinical personnel in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care.
- Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and volume fluctuations that could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to hire, evaluate, and terminate organization personnel.
- Conduct annual evaluations of clinicians, or more frequently as required.
- Oversee the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records to comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate and appropriate inventory supplies and equipment for providing patient services.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation programs for new organization personnel. Plan and conduct in-service and continuing education programs to meet the needs of the team.
- Assist in evaluating organizational performance through performance improvement programs, productivity, quarterly and annual reviews, ensuring the quality and safe delivery of home health and palliative services.
- Recommend and administer organization policies and procedures, while staying informed about changes in nursing and hospice care and sharing information with relevant personnel.

Actively promote home health and hospice referrals in the healthcare community.
- MSN degree or higher from an accredited program; focus in geriatrics a plus.
- Experience with Palliative Care and Hospice preferred.
- Three years of management experience in a hospice or related health care organization is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Maintain current BLS CPR certification.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Has excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and ACHC standards.
