Our client in Barry, IL are looking for highly motivated and hardworking individuals to assist in their Cannabis Packaging department. CULTIVATION:
Pay: $18.30/ hour
Shift A: Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM
Shift B: Tuesday- Friday 6AM- 4:30PM
*You will be placed under either of these shifts please have open availability for both
The Responsibilities

• Daily care of cannabis plants, including watering, pruning, and trimming, inspecting the plants
• Fertilizing and providing nutrients to the plants according to cultivation protocols
• Careful monitoring of the plants for any signs of growing issues or problems; treatment for disease or infestation
• Ensure the appropriate information is accurate and listed clearly in accordance with the state regulations and company standard operating procedures
• Carefully follow directions as provided by the Cultivation Department
• Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
• Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Accurate counting, quality control, and attention to detail are essential
• Other duties as assigned

Packaging:
Shift: Monday-Thursday 7am- 5:30pm
Labeling: Monday - Friday 7am -3:30pm
Pay: $17.30/ hour
The Responsibilities

• Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
• Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to address any issues or improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent contamination.
• Follow sanitation protocols for equipment and work areas.
• Inspect packaged products for any defects or discrepancies and address them as necessary.
• Ensure that all packaging materials meet quality standards and are free from contamination.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols to minimize risks associated with handling cannabis products.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

The Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Willing to schedule Mandatory State Fingerprinting Background Check
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry ( No felonies within 10 years or Misdemeanors within 5 years)
• Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
• Earned a HS Diploma or GED
• Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative
• Desire to create a career in the Cannabis Industry
• Possess an eye for detail and efficiency
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 or more pounds
