Worcester

FULL TIME

November 29, 2024

The Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, part of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH), is seeking a dynamic Behavior Analyst to play an essential role in the holistic treatment of individuals served. You will utilize your expertise to conduct thorough functional behavior assessments (FBA) and translate findings into actionable strategies that enhance behavioral interventions. Your responsibilities extend beyond analysis to the development, implementation, and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral treatments, integrating seamlessly with psychopharmacological and occupational therapies. • Establish rapport with clients and staff directly by modeling and teaching functionally-informed replacement behaviors and/or self-regulation skills in a manner accessible to all those involved.
  • Synthesize treatment effectiveness across behavioral, nursing, OT, and PT disciplines to inform psychopharmacological intervention through the Medication Review Committee (MRC) process (such as developing and disseminating the MRC schedule, reviewing, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting clinical data, and disseminating completed MRC report).
  • Participate in the disciplinary review of clinical recommendations and behavioral treatment to establish and refine best practices for both WRCH Psychology Department and Regional Peer Review.
