Wayland Farms Ltd. are recruiting for a Scanning Operative/Relief Stockperson to work across our Outdoor Breeding Units.
This role is 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend work as required.
Job Description

• To scan on all Wayland units including 3rd parties when instructed
• Normally scanning will be done within 3 to 4 days of the working week then you will be required to be a relief stockperson as where required
• Work where required for the better working performance of pig unit
• Ensuring that animal welfare is in accordance with Company policies
• Help maintain condition and appearance of the unit site
• Understand the importance of bio-security and security of the unit
• Help the team meet designated performance targets
• Liaise with your line Manager and other Wayland Management where needed
• Be willing to train on both farm unit and in class room as needed

What you will need:

• Previous experience as a pig stockperson
• Understanding of animal welfare
