Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in care homes settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and dignity. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Help with the preparation of meals and assist patients during mealtimes.
• Maintain accurate care plans and documentation to track patient progress and needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
• Drive to various locations as required for home care visits, ensuring timely arrival at appointments.

Experience

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
• Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care records is beneficial.
• Experience in home care or care home environments is desirable but not mandatory.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for those involved in home visits.
