As a Technical Service Engineer you will support our Technical Service Teams for Turkey while you are based in Istanbul. Your work is focused on providing technical support to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment. In this role, a typical day will include:

Identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up
-
Maintaining, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs
-
Developing on-going relationships with customers to secure future business
-
May resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems and/or train customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased
-
Provide customer site service including equipment installation, maintenance, upgrade and repair on Alcon surgical equipment within an assigned service territory.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
-
Minimum of 3 years in sales or a similar role
-
Educational Background; electrical/electronic engineer , physics engineer and biomedical engineer
-
Turkish and intermediate-level of English
-
Able to work in a surgical space like the operating room
