Attractive opportunity for Thai Local – Sriracha based role
Pan Aust Limited is an Australian-headquartered copper and gold producer in Laos, with pre-development and exploration assets in Laos, Myanmar and Papua New Guinea (PNG). The Company is focused on a sustainable business model associated with the production and sale of copper and gold, delivery of production goals and growth.
Phu Bia Mining’s producing assets are the Phu Kham Copper-Gold Operation and the Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation, both located in the Company’s 2,600 square-kilometre. The company has a Mineral Exploration and Production Agreement (MEPA) with the Government of Laos which regulated exploration, development and mining activities within the Contract Area, and sets out the Company’s tax and royalty obligations.
This role is reporting to the Port Team Leader. The key objective of Unloading Staff is to safely unload concentrate from inside the container including scraping out residual concentrate and to clear up any spillages after tipping by Tip Truck within the concentrate sheds at Sriracha port, Thailand.
Responsibilities
Safely unload and clear out the concentrate from inside the containers and all spillages at the concentrate sheds at Sriracha port in accordant with procedures.
Operate sweepers to clear away residual concentrate from the immediate surrounds of the port warehouse.
Ensure high housekeeping standards; clear and clean the area/tools after complete daily tasks.
Assist as may be required from time to time with load out activities.
Follow any reasonable instructions from the Port Team Leader, Port Supervisor and/or Area Superintendent
Skills and experience
Experience in port operations environment or related field such as bulk material handling
Excellent knowledge and practical application of fatigue management and safety processes
High levels of enthusiasm and energy combined with a proactive approach to work.
