工作內容
Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology (ICOB), Academia Sinica, Taiwan, invites applications for a manager of a tissue Cryo EM core facility (with the title of Assistant Research Specialist). The tissue cryo EM core facility will support v EM (volume electron microscopy), cryo ET (cryo-electron tomography) and CLEM (correlative light-electron microscopy) for 3D ultrastructural analyses of tissues. ICOB, consisting of 21 laboratories, engages in biological research at the molecular, cellular and systems levels in the fields of cell and developmental biology and neuroscience. 應徵資格
Interested candidates should have Ph D degree in biophysics or engineering and have extensive experience in electron microscopy. Candidates with experience in both FIB/s EM and confocal microscopy are especially encouraged to apply. Excellent analytical and communication skills are required. The successful candidate is expected to organize/manage the tissue Cryo EM core facility and develop/adapt advanced cryo EM technologies.
