Social Compliance Coordinator

As a trusted point person for the Social Compliance department, you will work on a wide range of initiatives that provide visibility into every area of the organization and require regular contact with internal and external stakeholders. Activities such as data management, developing suppliers’ compliance lists, creating training materials, updating criteria and preparing supporting data and documents.
This role is best suited to an analytical thinker with strong communication skills who is adaptable, creative, versatile, and enjoys a variety of activities. You use your excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in order to prioritize and execute tasks to meet CCM’s goals on time. Ensuring CCM Hockey stays up to date on ESG initiatives helps to further CCM’s mission of making work comfortable for all.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is performed primarily in an office environment which is typically quiet. Most of your duties will be fulfilled with the use of a computer and office equipment, with communications taking place by phone, email or in person. Some functions of your role will be conducted in the manufacturing facility, where you may be exposed to noise.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the creation and ongoing maintenance of social compliance documentation
- Coordination and maintenance of CCM’s social compliance documents including notices of change.
- Update databases and platforms of social compliance content.
- Collect and analyze data from a range of sources (e.g. working with suppliers, conducting research).
- Enter and cross-references data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with CCM team to prepare customers’ requirements and update related documentations (Audit checklist).
- Collect and analyze social compliance data for the creation of the Annual Corporate Report.
- Conduct research on new regulations or certification programs.
- Support other departments by answering questions and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Ongoing maintenance of suppliers’ compliance tracking sheets.
- Verify conformance to various certification.
- Create spreadsheets and other reports to aid in decision-making and planning.
- Act a liaison between internal departments and external organizations to coordinate the guidance of the third party on social compliance audits and their reporting.
- Minimum 5 years’ related experience in a Social Compliance and Quality Assurance/Control.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Coordination is an asset.
- Post-secondary degree specializing in Social Compliance/ ESG, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge and experience with applicable standards
- Possesses a general understanding of product lifecycle, materials, material composition, chemical constituents, and other relevant topics.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
- Strong written and speaking English competency
- Working with data with advanced analytic and reporting capabilities using Excel Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, and mathematical use of Excel; proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an asset.

- Must be capable of traveling to other locations as required to perform job function.
