As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and operating containerized microservices in our private and public clouds, while striving for continuous improvements in performance and availability. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary Dev Ops team. Your role is to transform data into valuable insights by developing an end-to-end monitoring solution for Swisscom, supported by a cutting-edge Big Data technology stack. Collecting, merging and analyzing data streams from numerous systems in an efficient and real-time manner expands the scope of your responsibilities.

Degree (BSc/MSc/Ph D) in Computer Science or industry experience
Backend Developer experienced in Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Microservices architectures
Proficient in Kafka for Event-Driven architectures and experienced in developing RESTful APIs
Deep understanding of Big Data technologies like Spark, Kafka and Flink, as well as experience in programming streaming pipelines and real-time data processing
What makes you stand out
Strong knowledge of machine learning and experience with SQL or No SQL databases (Mongo, Elastic)
Enthusiastic and adaptable self-starter with desire to learn
Open and proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

Your skills
