....a highly motivated Project Manager for our Global Affairs department

• Responsibility, management and coordination of activities related to antibacterial and antifungal drug development programs supported by US Government Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA)
• Coordination of BARDA-related activities with internal stakeholders, e.g procurement, clinical development, CMC, legal and controlling/finance
• Primary contact for BARDA for the management and coordination of Basilea activities such as regular cross functional project update meetings, monthly and annual technical reportings, MS Project GANTTs, BARDA approvals for all project contracts, financial oversight, general compliance to Basilea/BARDA contract requirements
• Support Basilea to manage development projects in compliance with BARDA/Basilea contract.

• MSC or Ph D (Science) and ideally minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Sound project management and organizational skills
• Excellent skills with MS Office (especially Excel), MS Project and other tracking tools
• Familiar with managing budgets, integrated GANTTs, and project cost/timelines as well in developing project plans and presenting status updates to internal and external audiences
• Experience working with cross-functional project teams for development projects – familiarity with drug development an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - fluent in English, spoken and written
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment and to positively resolve or find solutions to issues and challenges
