? Responsibilities:

• Perform ophthalmic examinations (visual acuity, intraocular pressure, anatomical condition).
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for conditions such as:
  • Glaucoma
  • Retinal diseases
  • Macular diseases
  • Cataracts
  • Corneal diseases
  • Uveitis
  • Inflammatory eye diseases
  • Tear duct disorders
  • Strabismus
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up.
• Advise and educate patients on eye care and vision correction options.
• Handle administrative tasks (patient record management, liaising with other healthcare professionals).
• See and treat 20-25 patients daily.

? Working Hours:

• Full-time
• The minimum working hours in Switzerland are 42.5 hours per week, which translates to 8.5 hours per day.
  

? Vacation:

• 6 weeks of leave
  • 5 weeks of regular leave
  • 1 week for further training
  
  

? Salary:

• In the first year: the gross salary is 220,000 CHF per year
  (18,300 CHF per month)
• In the second year: the gross salary is 230,000 CHF per year
  (19,130 CHF per month)

✅ Requirements:

• Holds a medical degree in ophthalmology or is currently in the final year of an ophthalmology residency program.
• German language skills, ideally holding a B2 language certificate.
