Junior Legal & Compliance Officer

Robeco Switzerland Ltd., part of the international Robeco group, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Junior Legal & Compliance Officer to join our team in Zurich. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive experience across all areas of compliance within a FINMA-licensed asset management company of approximately 100 employees.

Department

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Activities: Engage in a variety of compliance tasks relevant to asset management, including control and monitoring functions.
Policy and Process Development: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and procedures.
Advisory Support: Provide compliance-related advice to business units and address queries promptly.
International Collaboration: Coordinate and exchange knowledge with our international compliance teams.
Legal Support: Participate in limited legal tasks such as contract reviews, providing legal advice, and monitoring regulatory developments.
Professional Growth: Opportunity to develop into a compliance specialist with a specific field of expertise.

Position & Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Degree in law, finance, or a related field; additional education in compliance or regulatory matters is a plus.
Experience: Relevant experience in compliance within the financial industry is advantageous.
Languages: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT tools / solutions and tech-savvy with the ability to utilize technology effectively in compliance tasks is a plus.
