Commercial Account Specialist, Vascular Division, ASH Region

Be responsible for all contracting elements including:
- Create and keep updated overview of all potential and existing vascular contracting opportunities
- Drive tender process in collaboration with CSD
- Implement tender and contracting procedures in the country
- Ensure that the all contracts are profitable and aligned with pricing model
- Maintain Division performance measures for contracts

Monitor and manage the European pricing model based on guidance from European Business & Strategic Manager
- Responsible for pricing model in the country and ensure that Regional Business Management and Account Specialists are trained on how to manage pricing
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers involved in contracting and tendering
- Provide sales/account management with guidance on how to best maximize contract output
- Prepare, present, negotiate innovative supply chain solutions to facilitate profitable growth of the Division business
- Adopt a team approach including Account Specialist and Clinical Support Specialist
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of current trends in healthcare systems
- Collaborate with Regional Business Management and Account Specialists in presenting product and company differentiators/added values towards customers
- Form the link between the Division and Customer Service and Delivery function
- Participation at relevant local and international exhibitions, meetings and lectures forwarding relevant information to divisional team
- Provide written reports to the Country Business Manager as appropriate.
- Attend quarterly business reviews with country leadership

Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.
- Secure the Cook culture and comply with company guidelines & policies
- Define and lead initiatives aimed at developing staff in commercial knowledge
Collaboration
- Ensure Vascular division’s collaboration with corporate functions and operational units, including Customer Support and Delivery, Reimbursement, other divisions and others necessary to support the business
- Be able to demonstrate strong relationships with key business customers
- Work closely and effectively with members of Cook’s Integrated Business Solutions team to support development of contractual opportunities with customers and maximize the service provided to the customer and patient.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent is desirable and 3-5 years relevant industry experience is preferred
- A proven track record of successful medical sales, sales management, marketing is preferred; Business to Business Selling, national accounts, or procurement group purchasing experience is desirable
- Ability to interact and communicate at all levels within an organisation
- Knowledge of Hospital Materials Management procurement, inventory and contracting processes is desirable
- Proven ability to both lead others and work in a team
- Analysis, administration and selling skills are all required
- Clinical awareness preferred
- Knowledge of the product line is an advantage
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and Business Objects
- Availability and willingness to travel on company business
