Job Description

About the Role
As a Product Steward, you will serve as the technical authority for quality-related matters across ADM’s Health & Wellness platform. You will provide expert guidance to internal teams and act as the key liaison between ADM and our customers, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing complex documentation, mentoring quality specialists, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As a Product Steward, you will serve as the technical authority for quality-related matters across ADM’s Health & Wellness platform. You will provide expert guidance to internal teams and act as the key liaison between ADM and our customers, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing complex documentation, mentoring quality specialists, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Quality Oversight: Provide technical guidance on quality and regulatory matters for ADM’s botanicals and specialty ingredients.
- Ensure Compliance: Partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory) to ensure product compliance during new product launches and tech transfers.
- Manage Customer Documentation: Write, own, and manage compliance statements, safety data sheets, product specifications, and customer communication materials.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Customer Quality, Production Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure product quality, regulatory, and production expectations are met.
- Monitor Third-Party Compliance: Oversee the quality of products and processes at third-party facilities and drive investigations when compliance issues arise.
- Support Crisis Management: Assist with communication and resolution of quality incidents, ensuring timely action and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Provide input on the design and installation of new processes and equipment with a focus on food safety and quality.
- Represent ADM: Serve as ADM’s representative in industry associations, maintaining ADM’s leadership in quality and regulatory matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
- Extensive experience in technical, quality, or regulatory roles, preferably in the Botanicals/Health & Wellness sector.
- PCQI certification.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable procedures.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Independent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work autonomously.
