AZURE DevOps – SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)

Our main objective is to create, deliver and maintain insurance product management solutions, as service propositions to enable any agent (linked or direct), machine or company to create and sell insurance products in Europe in an automated way and real time.

We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group

What is the purpose/mission of the position?

Join our Data Management Services team to enhance and implement enterprise-wide data governance platforms. Collaborate with colleagues to automate, optimize performance, and manage Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, and Microsoft/Azure Purview. Your expertise will refine our cloud environment and integrate new technologies. Bring your innovation and professionalism to drive our data governance success. What you are going to do

Manage and run critical data management platforms, tools, and technologies across the company within the focus area of Data Governance.
Facilitate the use of these services, providing support and maintaining communication with engineers and data professionals, enabling them to create innovative data products and AI capabilities with our Data Governance solutions.
Carry out Operations & Service Delivery including Change Management, Configuration Management, Life-cycle Management (LCM), and managing incidents and problems.
Ensure security is maintained following NN policy requirements and procedures.
Maintain and proactively enhance the platform's availability and stability, which includes monitoring and reliability management tasks.
Construct and implement automations through CI/CD pipelines.

Who you are:

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and thinking level.
3+ years of experience in IT and change projects.
Demonstrably developed problem-solving ability.
Knowledge and skills on Cloud (Azure, AWS) infrastructure, systems and tools.
Azure Dev Ops experience with setting up pipelines.
Experience using Power Shell, Bash or Terraform is an advantage.
Knowledge and skills on Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra is an advantage.
Knowledge and skills regarding security and compliancy are an advantage.
Experience in Agile (Scrum) way of working.
Good command of spoken and written English.
