Job Description
At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., we are offering an outstanding opportunity for a Staff Scientist, research & development in the Li-ion batteries industry in South Korea. As a Staff Scientist, you will collaborate with a group of professionals and play a pivotal role in driving our business forward and making a positive impact in the academic and industrial analysis community.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve customer unmet needs and provide detailed solutions to meet their requirements.
- Successfully implement analytical methodology and strategy to discover causative relationships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal division or teams to compete effectively in the Li-ion battery field.
- Build and maintain balanced relationships with customers to ensure their expectation.
- Stay on top of the state-of-the-art technology & analysis trends and provide actionable information in performing technical collaboration projects and works with customers.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of practical experience in R&D, electrochemistry, material sciences or analysis in the field of Li-ion batteries.
- Effective communication skill and problem-solving ability.
- Positive attitude and highly organized with excellent technical leadership skills.
- More than master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
