Responsibilities:

• • Manage the planning, design, and execution of assets, typography, logos, icons.
  • Plan and develop seasonal concepts/graphics and analyze emerging trends/customers.
  • Provide design mockups and sketches for global projects and private brand, etc.
  • Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
  • Testing and deciding on fabric, colors, patterns and textures for each design.
  • Sourcing and managing the production of designs and maintain a relationship with vendors and suppliers.
  • Work closely with internal creative team and collaborate with design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
  • Work across multiple projects at the same time and be able to produce high standards of finished work in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a superior knowledge of the latest market trends across lifestyle such as fashion, culture, art, music, etc.
  • Design and propose new fashion items for Hypebeast’s in-house private labels: Hypebeast and Hypegolf.

Requirements:

• • 3-5 years of experience working in a fashion industry as a lifestyle product designer such as apparels, headwear, accessories, and others.
  • Strong ability in hand-drawing and design application e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Adobe After Effect.
  • Solid understanding fashion products and development process for apparels, bags, and accessories.
  • Good communication skills and be able to present ideas/designs clearly and concisely.
  • Be self-motivated and hardworking, able to work independently both effectively and efficiently.
  • Able to work under pressure and constructive feedback to meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of street culture/HYPEBEAST background, and/or fashion work experience is highly preferred.
