JOB SCOPE
Oversee and direct construction projects (including all new Safe Hubs) from conception to completion in time and to budget. Responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, Compile RFP, manage professional teams and scheduling of the projects. Manage successful operational set up of new Safe-Hub sites (Legal / Community Engagement and Recruitment) in line with set-up strategy and assist in updating the Operations Manual when required.
Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Costs and Obtains Required Building Plans and Permits
• Reviews the project in-depth to estimate costs for plans, permits material and labor.
• Appoints Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Works with a professional team, identifies required contractors and subcontractors.
• Manages project implementation and ensures completion on due date and to budget
• Sets Up New Safe Hubs and Produce required reports
• Forecast staffing requirements and assist in recruitment, selection and induction of new employees.

CORE COMPETENCIES, ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS and PREFERENCES
Education/Equivalent:

• Matric/equivalent
• BS degree/equivalent in construction management, architecture, engineering or related fields.

Experience/Skills

• 5-10 years proven working experience in construction management
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Familiarity with construction management software package
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
