Marketing Manager | Benguela Cove

As the Marketing Manager for Benguela Cove, you will lead the charge in promoting our premium wines, luxurious destination, and world-class accommodation. This role combines strategic vision, storytelling, and hands-on execution to position Benguela Cove as a leading lifestyle brand in South Africa and beyond. You’ll oversee all marketing activities across diverse channels, driving engagement and sales while ensuring brand consistency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Storytelling: Develop compelling narratives that connect Benguela Cove's wines, experiences, and sustainability initiatives to target audiences locally and internationally.
- Channel Management: Oversee and optimize all marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and traditional media, across both the UK and South Africa.
- Social Media Leadership: Manage platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Linked In to build community, engagement, and brand visibility.
- Destination Marketing: Position Benguela Cove as a premier travel destination by targeting travel agents, airlines, and destination marketing organizations.
- Wine Marketing: Develop strategies for direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, partnerships with importers, distributors, on-consumption venues, loyalty programs, airlines, and duty-free channels.
- Gifting Strategies: Create innovative corporate and personal gifting campaigns to enhance brand loyalty and sales.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the marketing team, ensuring collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Sustainability Promotion: Highlight Benguela Cove’s sustainability efforts as a core part of the brand’s identity and appeal.
- Event Marketing: Support events, tastings, and partnerships with restaurants to showcase the estate’s offerings.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align marketing strategies with business objectives and revenue targets.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze performance metrics across campaigns to refine and optimize marketing strategies.
