Financial Reporting Analyst - Team Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to lead our team with confidence, foster strong relationships with both clients and colleagues, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will excel at delegating tasks effectively, setting clear boundaries with clients—such as defining realistic timelines and workloads—and implementing efficient processes. A strong familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and expertise in preparing financial statements is essential for success in this role.
This position requires a proactive individual who can respond promptly to tasks and inquiries from the client while maintaining a structured approach to project management. We will trust you to:

Involved in the process of preparing the financial statements.
Preparing the draft tax calculations.
i XBRL filing in the UK and Ireland.
Maintaining the STAT ledger for local reporting requirements.
Assistance in the external audit process.
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Managing a team and reviewing their work.
Any adhoc accounting related tasks as required by the client.
Involved in monthly tasks, such as VAT returns.
Basic consolidated financial statement preparation.
Manage global local firms to meet deadlines.
Maintain process documentation
Act as the gateway between local firm, Auditor, and client.
Review and or prepare ledger reconciliations.

Requirements

Strong accounting background (minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience).
Experience managing a team.
Willingness to learn.
Innovative (recognize opportunities to be more efficient) and take initiative.
Self-starter and problem-solver.
Strong working knowledge of Excel
