Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting bespoke travel itineraries tailored to guests’ unique preferences and budgets.
- Managing the reservations process from initial quote to invoicing and travel documentation.
- Proactively selling travel products and services to ensure guest delight and satisfaction.
- Collaborating with agents, sales teams, and suppliers to deliver seamless travel experiences.
- Participating in rotational emergency duties and shifts to provide 24/7 support.
- A seasoned travel consultant with 3-5 years of experience in tour consulting.
- A deep passion for service excellence and creating memorable guest journeys.
- Strong knowledge of South Africa, Southern, and East Africa destinations.
- Proficiency in systems like Tourplan, WETU, and ESS is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- An independent and curious mindset with a “can-do” attitude.
- Diligence, creativity, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
