ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER - Durbanville Wine Estate Restaurant

This beautiful 110-seater recently relaunched and renovated wine estate restaurant in the northern winelands of Durbanville offers elegant contemporary cuisine under an acclaimed top head chef who is well known in the Cape for his Fine Dining accolades. With South Africa inspired recipes of old, the plating is magnificent and attention to detail best described as "picture perfect". The award-winning wines from the same estate are carefully paired with all dishes and maximum use of the farms fresh produce is utilized extensively on the menu. Breakfast and lunch are served in the modern open-plan terrace restaurant.
Pro Staff Select are in search of a passionate, energetic, highly organised ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER:
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification in food service/Hospitality Management with a passion for FOOD & WINE
4-6 years Restaurant Management experience, and work in top quality / elegant restaurants and wine estates / 5* hotels
Well presented, service focused with the ability to deal with clientele
Stress tolerant and to work under pressure
Ability to solve problems and find solutions
Shows attention to detail, must be self-disciplined with excellent planning and organizational skills
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays and certain evenings for functions (if needed)
Exceptional knowledge of food and beverages, including bar and wine varieties
Team management and training abilities
