- Determines creative and innovative methods and solutions for complex bridge engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives.
- Applies advanced bridge engineering techniques and analyses.
- Utilize thorough knowledge of current technology to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on projects
- Perform complex bridge engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
- May function as discipline Project Engineer or Discipline Lead on medium to large projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the group.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results. Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders.
- 10 years of related work experience
- BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Auto CAD
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software
- Strong, self-motivated leader
- Complex and diverse problem solving skills
