Head of Procurement

- To manage and negotiate pricing, commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers and recommend the most competitive suppliers and subcon.
- With experience in Import-export related transactions affairs.
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
- Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
- Facilitate effective communication between procurement team, internal stakeholders and vendors, to ensure smooth procurement operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Procurement Department within the Construction industry.
- Able to work 6 working days on Site.
