Job Summary:
The Cloud and Data Center Products and Project Manager is a dual-role professional responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of cloud and data center products while simultaneously overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of related projects. This role ensures alignment between product strategy and project delivery, meeting business goals, customer needs, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities
1. Product Management Responsibilities:

• Define the strategy and roadmap for cloud and data center products, ensuring alignment with market trends and business objectives.

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitive opportunities.

• Develop and prioritize product requirements, collaborating with engineering, operations, and design teams.

• Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.

• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to create product positioning and go-to-market strategies.

• Monitor product performance and use KPIs to inform future enhancements.
  

2. Project Management Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver projects related to cloud and data center products, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Define project objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana).

• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across departments.

• Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Communicate project updates, status, and deliverables to stakeholders and leadership.
  

3. Alignment of Product and Project Goals:

• Ensure product strategies are translated into actionable project plans.

• Balance product development timelines with project delivery deadlines.

• Act as the bridge between product vision and project execution to maintain strategic focus.
  

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Liaise with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and support teams to align goals and deliverables.

• Ensure stakeholder alignment on product priorities and project timelines.

• Facilitate regular meetings to review progress, address challenges, and maintain momentum.
  

5. Post-launch and Post-project Analysis:

• Evaluate product performance post-launch, using metrics such as adoption rates, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

• Conduct project retrospectives to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement.
  

Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or CSPO certification is a plus.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in product management and/or project management, preferably in cloud or data center environments.
• Proven track record of delivering technology products and projects successfully.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and data center technologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g.,JIRA, MS Project).
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Saa S, Paa S, or Iaa S product models.
• Hands-on experience managing projects in technology or data center environments.
