Construction Civil Manager (NEOM Approved)
Job Summary:
The Construction Civil Manager will oversee all aspects of civil construction within assigned NEOM projects. The role requires managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to NEOM’s sustainability and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The manager will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with NEOM’s guidelines, safety protocols, and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor progress and address any deviations to ensure timely project delivery.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all civil construction activities comply with NEOM’s sustainability goals, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Verify adherence to local and international construction codes and regulations.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and NEOM representatives to align objectives.
- Conduct regular project meetings and progress updates for stakeholders.
- Resource Management:
- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to project execution.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct inspections and audits to maintain high-quality construction output.
- Address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Health and Safety:
- Establish and enforce health and safety protocols on-site.
- Ensure incident-free operations and prepare reports for any issues encountered.
- Innovation and Technology Integration:
- Promote the use of advanced construction methodologies and digital tools (BIM, drones, AI).
- Drive innovation aligned with NEOM’s smart and sustainable infrastructure vision.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare periodic reports to highlight project milestones and challenges.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in construction management, with experience in large-scale or mega projects.
- Proven track record of managing infrastructure projects in urban or sustainable environments.
- Certifications:
- NEOM project approval or prequalification status (mandatory).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications preferred.
- Safety certifications (OSHA, NEBOSH).
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and project management software.
- Familiarity with sustainability and green building standards (LEED, BREEAM).
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a focus on results.
- Location: NEOM, Saudi Arabia
- Travel: May require frequent travel across NEOM project sites.
- Environment: High-pressure, high-standards environment with an emphasis on innovation and precision.
Pay: ﷼12,000.00 - ﷼14,000.00 per month
