Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technological advancement of our client’s organization. This position will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring that technology remains a core differentiator as they lead the tourism and accommodation industry in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-looking technology strategy that aligns with the company’s broader business goals. Lead the design and implementation of innovative technology roadmaps that drive customer engagement, market differentiation, and sustainable growth.

Technology Development & Innovation: Identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational scalability, improve the user experience, and foster competitive advantage. Lead the implementation of enterprise-level solutions that support business expansion and operational efficiency.

Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and marketing, to align technology strategies with business objectives. Ensure the integration of technological solutions that support overall company growth and operational excellence.

Customer-Centric Solutions: Leverage customer insights to develop and implement technological innovations that enhance user experiences and build brand loyalty. Focus on translating market dynamics into actionable technology solutions.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven work environment. Lead efforts to scale the team efficiently as the organization grows, ensuring it is equipped to meet future challenges.

Sustainability & Scalability Focus: Ensure that technology systems are designed to be scalable and environmentally sustainable. Champion the integration of green technologies and support eco-friendly tourism solutions.

Data-Driven Decision-Making: Implement advanced analytics to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Ensure that systems are optimized for performance and reliability, with a strong focus on data security and privacy.
Qualifications

Strategic Vision: Proven experience aligning technology strategies with overarching business goals. Ability to anticipate industry trends and turn them into actionable technology initiatives that support long-term business objectives.

Technical Expertise: At least 12 years of experience in senior technology roles, including a minimum of 4 years as a CTO or equivalent. Expertise in cloud computing, scalable systems, microservices, data analytics, and advanced technologies like AWS and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with enterprise-level technology solutions is essential.

Customer-Centric Innovation: Deep understanding of customer behavior and market dynamics. Ability to drive the development of technology solutions that enhance user experiences and customer engagement.

Leadership & Team Management: Proven track record in leading large teams, with experience managing teams of 100+ individuals. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Sustainability & Scalability: Experience designing systems that balance scalability and sustainability will be a plus. Knowledge of environmental standards and global sustainability practices in the tourism industry will also be a plus.

Preferred Backgrounds: Candidates with a background in tourism, hospitality, or tech-enabled services are highly desirable. Experience in B2C environments and product lifecycle management will also be valuable.
- Language Proficiency: English fluency is a must for effective communication, both verbal and written.
