Technical Support Internship (Fire)

We have an opportunity for a Technical Support Intern (Fire) to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. The job purpose of this role consist in providing Level 1 technical support for Core Fire systems and Adjacent products, providing answers and solutions related to the product portfolio. Performance Indicator is that over 85% of all questions are resolved, maintaining and improving the results constantly. Time allocation for main activities: 65% Customer Interactions, 25% Article & How-to Video Management,10% Professional & Development Admin. This internship position is a fixed-term contract with a duration of one year. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities:

• Coverage of Technical Support Helpdesk phone & e-mail for Iberia and backup the UK Notifier team and document all interactions with the customers;
• Ensuring technical knowledge and expertise on relevant products in a portfolio, including legislative and regulatory approvals, is maintained at a high level;
• Develop FAQ’s, Technical Tips, and ‘How-To ’videos on Hardware and Software applications to achieve KCS maturity;
• Handle internal and external customer related issues and concerns through approved communication channels;
• Active involvement in developing the internal/external article database, by constantly creating/updating new and existing articles, with the purpose of facilitating technical information and procedures to customers and being utilized by all team members for solving customer queries.

Key skills and qualifications:

• Final-year student in a bachelor's or master's technical degree program as Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Cyber Security (or any technical related field);
• Previous experience in a technical support environment is a plus;
• Understand customer’s needs;
• Problem solving orientation;
• Oral & written communication at all levels.
