The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing goods in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining a clean and organized store area. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring they match orders and are free of damage.
- Properly label, store, and arrange products in the warehouse or stockroom.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through manual logs or inventory management software.
- Assist with stock counts and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
- Issue materials and goods to relevant departments or customers as per requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized store area, ensuring safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor product expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Report stock shortages, product damages, or issues to management.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the store or warehouse.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in logistics, warehouse management is a plus).
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems.
- Good physical health with the ability to lift heavy items.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills.
