This is the job: Mid/Senior System Engineer Network Automation Team

Portugal
Remote
Proficiency in English (mandatory)

These are the essential skills:

You have 3+/5+ years of experience as a system engineer;
You have basic understanding of networking concepts, and network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
You are proficient in Python and know your way around bash as well.
You are familiar with tools like Chef for managing and maintaining configuration consistency across systems.
Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs for integrating network services and automation tools;
Proficient in using version control systems like Git for collaborative development and code management;
Common Linux distributions knowledge (Ubuntu, and optionally Red Hat, Debian);
Good understanding of databases like My SQL.
A solid ability to troubleshoot network-related issues and experience with network monitoring tools.
Knowledge of tools such as Grafana or Elasticsearch.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Icinga and Prometheus.
Knowledge of IP addresses and subnetting, DHCP, VLANs;
Basic knowledge of (or curiosity for) ISP-related technologies such as servers’hardware and cloud technologies.
Interest in infrastructure automation.
