Senior Accountant (Canada)

Work Setup & Schedule:
- Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 7:00am to 4:00pm)
- Compilation Engagement Preparation: Prepare compilation (Notice to Reader) engagements for private companies according to Canadian accounting standards.
- Utilize Case Ware to perform financial data entry, adjustments, reconciliations, and generate financial statements for corporate clients.
- Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all documentation, emphasizing attention to detail at each stage of the compilation engagement.
- File Preparation and Documentation: Organize and prepare corporate financial files, ensuring well-documented, clear financial analysis and error-free reporting.
- Prepare working papers in Case Ware, adhering to FJP CPA's internal quality and organizational standards.
- Collaboration with FJP CPA Team: Communicate regularly with the FJP CPA team regarding timelines, specific client requirements, and review processes.
- Participate in training sessions and provide feedback on workflow improvements.
- Uphold data security and confidentiality standards for all client information in line with Canadian data protection regulations.
- CPA
- At least 3 to 4 years’ solid end-to-end experience in Finance and Accounting services.
- A base level of accounting knowledge and some experience
- An awareness or experience with accounting software
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel
- Preferably with Case Ware experience
- Strong analytical skills along with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
