Roles and Responsibilities: • Conduct the analysis of maintenance data to initiate changes in the maintenance program to improve reliability. • Ensure that engineering data will be process for system and component improvements. • Perform failure root cause and corrective action analysis. • Prepare monthly and year end reliability reports. • Monitor aircraft system/component performance (pilots reports, • delays/cancellations), issue alerts and provide recommendations for • corrective action. • Initiate and analyze reliability alerts. • Review vendor teardown report trends and recommend corrective action. • Provide engineering support to maintain continued airworthiness of aircraft • and identify solutions to improve aircraft reliability. • Review and evaluate technical publications from aircraft manufacturer and • various OEM’s which will improve parts and systems reliability. • Performs and carry out other duties that superiors may assign. Basic Qualifications: • Must be a college graduate with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or other engineering-related course • Must have at least 2 years of work experience in Aviation Engineering • Proven experience in reliability engineering or a similar role within the aviation industry. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from maintenance data. • Familiarity with failure root cause analysis methodologies. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance practices. • Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to aircraft reliability. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently manage projects. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. • Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
