Quality Assurance Manager

The quality assurance manager is responsible for delivering optimum quality of a company’s services or goods. In addition to maintaining consistent quality, they help to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and environmental standards, recommending improvements where necessary.
What you’re expected to do?
- Monitors and improves performance of Quality Assurance team to be more efficient
- Checks on the collection of accurate representative sample and monitors physico-chemical tests from batch production within the set parameters
- Document sets standards of raw and finished product based on quality parameters
- Audits processes based on set standards in order to identify root causes of non conformances
- Checks the QA reports for completeness and accuracy of information.
- Checks the status and decides on the disposition of raw materials, in-process and finished products based on brand specifications.
- Implements the Central Kitchen’s quality assurance programme and good manufacturing practices
- Investigates consumer complaints and problems of returned and damaged goods related to quality and food safety.Inspects finished products before they are sent to the warehouse and before release to the market/ establishment.
- Conducts supplier audits based on GMP standards
- Ensures that most efficient and cost-effective methods/procedures are used in processing and finishing operations.
- Perform tasks that may be assigned by Superior
- HACCP or at least Serv Safe or Food Safety Compliance Certified
- Graduate of a Food Tech, Chemistry,Nutrition and Dietetics, HRIM or Microbiology course
- Experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor/ Manager in a commissary manufacturing set up is a must
- Knowledgeable in Philippine Food Laws (FDA act of 2013 and Code on Sanitation of the Philippines), Good Manufacturing Practices and Food and Drug Administration Legal requirements
Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
