About the Client
Our client is a preowned luxury fashion tech company that enables brands and retailers to buy and sell used goods through innovative technology. With a unique Resale as a Service solution, the company serves the world’s largest retailers and acts as a global distributor of pre-owned luxury fashion. The company operates offices and warehouses in several countries and is now part of the FARFETCH Group, fostering values like transparency, excellence, and sustainability while leading the evolution of the luxury resale model.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Lead Buyer, you will be implementing our procurement strategy, buying the most sellable items. Using a creative mindset with a brand focus, ensuring buylist recommendations are met, consulting market trends according to the allocated budget.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Your main responsibilities include: Product Selection from B2B and B2C suppliers, making sure that items procured closely follow our Buying directions.
  
• During selection, ensure price competitiveness while securing profit margins (by benchmarking selected items and using data tools to support buying decisions).
  
• Ensure continuous in-flow of stock that is relevant and saleable. Support in providing the base selling price for the items selected, and all relevant product attributes.
  
• Mentor junior buyers, sharing your best practices and promoting continuous improvement of buying decisions and processes.
  

WHO YOU ARE:

• You are an experienced buyer (at least 3 years) at a fashion/retail company; You graduated in Fashion, Business or Marketing (or similar) with excellent English skills.
  
• You are an agile team mate who’s receptive to feedback, quick to adjust to a fast paced environment and industry, with great attention to detail.
  
• You have a flair for fashion, know all about trends and luxury brands.
  
• Previous experience in Handbags/Accessory merchandise is a plus.
