About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Payable Associate - With Taxation Knowledge to join our dynamic team at Business Trends Philippines' in our Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City office. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our accounts payable processes. Your knowledge of taxation will be instrumental in supporting the company's compliance requirements.
What you'll be doing

• Invoice Processing: Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before processing payments.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payments to vendors, suppliers and employees in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Processing of Cash advance and employee reimbursements and claims and Corporate cards
• Payment to Statutory/government agencies for taxes and business permits.
• Recording and monitoring of Accruals.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payment confirmations, and vendor communications.
• Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and account status.
• Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable and provide insights on cash flow management.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding financial transactions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team and other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Services as laiason officer for getting tax clearance, inventory write offs, and other tasks as needed.
• Other ad hoc tasks as and when needed.

What we're looking for

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
• With at least 5-7 yrs of experience in AP and tax
• Strong understanding of AP Process
• Experience in SAP
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Knowledge in local taxation
• Amenable to work in BGC

Pay: Php29,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
