- We need a solution-oriented personality who is not only able to solve complex engineering problems, but also explain your decisions in a manner that makes sense to the rest of the team (This includes being able to speak intelligently with techies and non-technical folks).
- The ability to provide guidance to those that need it and take advice from those offering to give it.
- Like most places, we work in an Agile/SCRUM environment, so this means you will be expected to give updates on a very frequent basis.
- Must be able to give accurate work/time estimates based on what’s being asked of you, and be willing to ask questions if you need more information to make an accurate estimate.
The tasks you’d be performing:
You would perform simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures. Work is checked in progress or on completion. You’d perform one or a combination of such typical duties as:
- Assembling or installing equipment or parts
- Performing such tasks as replacing components .
- Repairing simple electronic equipment.
- Taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.
- Performing assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed.
- Selecting or adapting standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents.
- Receiving initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed.
- Performing recurring work independently.
- Performing at this level one or a combination of such typical duties as: constructing components, subunits, or simple models or adapts standard equipment.
- Troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions.
