Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will work remotely and assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills while gaining exposure to various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements.
• Support the audit process by providing required documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and support in filing tax returns.
• Process invoices and handle vendor payments.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
• Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial reporting and bookkeeping is a plus.
• Knowledge of tax regulations in Pakistan is a bonus.
• Familiarity with GST and other compliance requirements.
• Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
• Exposure to financial analysis or budgeting is a bonus.
