Assistant Manager Quality Control

- Monitor and inspect the quality of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist in establishing quality control protocols and ensure adherence to them across all production stages.
- Conduct regular checks on production processes to maintain product quality, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Supervise and mentor a team of quality control technicians or inspectors, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality standards.
- Provide ongoing training and support to the QC team on inspection techniques, procedures, and quality standards.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Collect, analyze, and report on quality data, including performance metrics, non-conformance trends, and product defects.
- Prepare reports for the Quality Control Manager and other departments, detailing findings, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections, audits, and corrective actions in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement in quality processes and procedures to drive efficiency and minimize defects.
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues, working collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
- Participate in root cause analysis and facilitate problem-solving sessions to resolve recurring quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, as well as external regulations (e.g., ISO, industry-specific standards).
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring the necessary documentation is in place and audits are successfully passed.
- Ensure all quality control procedures align with relevant regulatory requirements, such as safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to resolve quality issues related to raw materials and components.
- Address customer complaints related to product quality, conducting investigations and ensuring resolutions are met promptly.
