Job Functions:

• · Manage commercial/technical contracts, agreements and other legal documents independently.
• · Compile, proofread and edit drafts of contracts, leases, licenses, policies and other legal documents.
• · Ability to conduct accurate legal research on any legal issue or matter.
• · Assist in queries/correspondence on regulatory matters from Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and PEMRA.
• · Well versed in litigation procedure, with experience in both lower and high courts.
• · Assist with the administration and management of workflow.

Skills:

• · Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system.
• · Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office.
• · Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
• · Ability to understand and interpret legal documents.
• · Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• · Proficient in Microsoft Office, Pakistan law site and other legal research sites.
• · Proficient in English with strong verbal/written skills

Education and experience:

• · A Bachelors degree in law from a reputed university (essential)
• · Minimum 3-4 years of in-house or law firm experience
• · Enrollment in the courts of Pakistan
