Our esteemed client from a Major Oilfield, Muscat,Oman is looking for Quantity Surveyor(QS)
Requirements-
Diploma/Degree in quantity surveying, or a related field.
Experience:-
Minimum 6 years’ experience in tendering for major oilfield operators in Oman
Duties
1. Preparing tender documents and evaluating tenders
2. Preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
3. Analyzing and negotiating contracts with suppliers and contractors
4. Conducting feasibility studies to determine project viability
5. Managing project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
6. Advising clients on cost-saving measures and alternative materials
7. Preparing and submitting progress reports to clients and stakeholders
8. Managing and monitoring project schedules
9. Identifying and managing project risks
10. Ensuring compliance with construction regulations and safety standards
Skills Required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in computer programs such as Excel and Auto CAD
• Good understanding of construction regulations and safety standards

• Good financial management and budgeting skills
