Senior Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Work with company work processes and databases handlers.
- Work with various systems, such as STID-Loop, Tag/Doc, PIMS, Procosys, SAP-PM06/10, ECP, and access@plant
- Development of design and safety critical documentations typically for SCDs, Cause and Effects, context and hiding diagrams, functional specifications, IO-lists etc.
- Client and supplier communication
- Work with projects in different phases, including study phase
- Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian, both orally and in writing
- Have a cooperative working attitude
- Be systematic and accurate
- Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
- Experience from Equinor offshore and/or onshore installations
- Familiarity with Equinor’s technical requirements, guidelines, and Aris workflow processes.
- Knowledge of common communication protocols and layers, including OPC, Modbus (RTU and TCP), and Profibus.
- Understanding of architecture and key features of Safety Instrumented Systems from major industry suppliers.

Relevant Master or Bachelor Degree
- EX – Basic course, 6-8 hours online or 22.5 hours in the classroom
- FSE – High and low voltage, including first aid
- Offshore course and health certificate – If not already obtained at the start, these must be completed as needed
