Our client is looking for an IBM MQ Engineer for application deviation remediation support.
You must have the right to work in Norway without restrictions.

Key experience and qualifications required
You must have all of the following experience and competencies, which must be evidenced in your CV:
1. MQ Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement IBM MQ infrastructure to support business applications.
• Configure and manage MQ queue managers, queues, channels, and other related components.
• Ensure MQ infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.

2. Administration and Maintenance:

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Monitor MQ performance and implement tuning recommendations.
• Conduct capacity planning and ensure MQ infrastructure is adequately provisioned.

3. Application Support:

• Collaborate with application development teams to design and optimize messaging solutions.
• Provide support for application integration and troubleshoot MQ-related issues.
• Ensure seamless communication between distributed systems through effective messaging.

4. Disaster Recovery and High Availability:

• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for MQ infrastructure.
• Configure and manage high-availability solutions such as MQ clustering and multi-instance queue managers.
• Ensure MQ systems are resilient and can recover quickly from failures.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of MQ configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on MQ performance, capacity, and security status.
• Document and track changes and incidents related to the MQ environment.

6. Innovation and Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest developments in MQ technology and middleware solutions.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the MQ environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize messaging infrastructure.
