Join Us as Communication Manager – Shape the Voice of Real Estate

At Schibsted Marketplaces, we’re looking for a strategic and creative Communication Manager to lead and shape the voice of our Real Estate brands, FINN in Norway, Oikotie in Finland, and Blocket, Qasa, and Home Q in Sweden. The main focus area will be our Norwegian brand FINN eiendom, also including responsibility for FINN travel. In this role, you’ll strengthen brand presence, engage stakeholders, and drive impactful communication across internal and external channels. You’ll report directly to Real Estate, collaborate closely with our central Communication team and cross-functional colleagues, and play a critical role in aligning our communication efforts with business goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Communication Strategy & Content: Develop and execute strategies aligned with Real Estate’s objectives, creating high-quality content for press releases, social media, newsletters, and websites.
• Media Relations: Build and maintain strong media relationships, manage press releases, and coordinate interviews to ensure positive coverage.
• Internal Communications: Support internal messaging to keep employees informed, aligned, and engaged.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage, public perception, and effectiveness of communication initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
  • Proven success in developing and executing effective communication strategies.
  • Strong media relations skills and established network of contacts.
  • Proficient in communication tools, including social media, CMS, and analytics.
  • The primary focus of this role is managing the Norwegian part of the business. Proficiency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is considered an advantage
