Billing and Revenue Specialist

About the job
The Billing and Revenue specialist will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and supporting revenue recognition procedures. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses a strong understanding of accounting principles. You will be joining our team of dynamic individuals and will be based in our Oslo office.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send out invoices, and manage the collection process
- Manage customer accounts and requirements
- Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Perform revenue reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to billing and revenue recognition. Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration with minimum of 3-5 years of experience in billing, revenue management, or related financial roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Workday, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English as a working language)
