About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to join our team at Yiliang Mineral Products Trading Co., Ltd in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will take a lead role in overseeing mining operations, ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of mineral resources, and providing strategic technical expertise in exploration, development, and optimization activities. This role is critical to driving sustainable operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement mining plans for exploration and resource extraction.
• Conduct geological surveys and feasibility studies for mining sites.
• Oversee drilling, blasting, and excavation operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Analyze and optimize mining processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with geologists, surveyors, and other team members to enhance project outcomes.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mining exploration or operations.
• Proficient in mining software (e.g., SURPAC, Mine Sight).
• Strong knowledge of mining techniques, geology, and regulatory requirements in Nigeria.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
