About the Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team at Dargaville Hospital on a permanent part time basis
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide expert physiotherapy with promoes independence, safety and wellbeing to the pateients of Health New Zealand. The work will be predomoinantly musculoskeletal, providing cover in the General Ward for Annual and Sick leave.

About you
Essential Skills and Experience

Qualified Physiotherapist with registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ (or eligible for) and a holder of a current practicing certificate
Sound knowledge of Physiotherapy theory and principles or practise, able to assess client's needs and take appropriate action
Proven ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of people and age groups and proven time management/priority setting skills, and problem-solving ability.
Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
