We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our team at Ericsson as a Customer Project Manager (CPM). This role is value-driven, data-centered, and pivotal to fostering a balance between Ericsson and our valued customers. The CPM is responsible for Fulfillment Assignment Specifications (FAS) execution accountability, compliance to group, legal, and financial directives. A key part of the role is delivering value and benefit recognition through each project, for the benefit of both Ericsson and our clients.
What you will do:
- Prepare project timelines - identify all resource requirements and evaluate financials.
- Monitor status of all new products and ensure effective execution of projects according to required policies, procedures and government regulations.
- Coordinate with engineering and product management teams and develop and implement plans for new product testing (hardware, software and features.)
- Manage communication across direct and in-direct team members.
- Administer efficient first release products (hardware, software and features.)
- Work with customer engineering teams and assist in transition from new product introduction testing to active production network.
- Provide technical support to Supply and other teams.
- Maintain an inventory and ensure forecasting and availability of required equipment, tools, test equipment and other parts.
- Analyse and recommend improvements to all processes and methods to facilitate cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Analyse and recommend corrective action in case of any design failure.
- Coordinate with senior management, maintain knowledge on product status and prepare appropriate reports.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/computer science or similar.
- Minimum 10 years Telecommunications/ICT field experience - 3 years in comparative job roles.
- Proven experience across Telecommunications and Broadband.
- Financial Acumen & Analysis Skills.
- Customer and Market Insights.
- Negotiation, Persuading & Influencing Skills.
- Project Management Skills.
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS.)
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, plan and organize.
